Get your regular meal and here is the tricky part... Take the big piece of meat out! Vege is really easy, Vegan is the one that needs alot of work Maybe try some bean and corn burritos, or just steamed vegies and rice or you could try and make some vege/chick pear/kidney bean burgers Or even simpler just make a killer pasta sauce out of tomato, chilli paste and any veges you want

| @easy, you might wanna try Shawarma Snack Center in Malate Manila or Mister Kebab in West ave Quezon City for some good authentic falafels... here's a favorite recipe that i usually cook at home: tofu sisig! -firm tofu brick or tokwa (a lot cheaper) - wrap it in some paper towels to remove the excess water -regular sized onions (lots of it) -some garlic -soy sauce -calamansi -pepper -chilis 1. slice the tofu bricks about a cm thick, fry them in oil until crispy and golden brown. chop them up into small sisig size pieces, set aside. 2. sauté the onions first the add the garlic afterwards (para di masunog yung garlic). 3. add the chopped tofu into pan 4. add soy and calamansi (about 5-7 pcs per block of tofu) 5. add a dash of pepper and the chilis. enjoi! | |

| walang mayo yang recipe, dry sisig yan pag pure tofu lang ang ginamit...pag ginagamitan ko nung bottled gluten, mejo parang may mayo na sya dahil sa consistency nya. ang ginagawa ko, yung bottled gluten pagkatapos ko i-drain yung liquid nilalagayan ko sya ng calamansi sa bottle nya tapos marinade ko for a day, mejo magiging creamy yung consistency nya after and mejo matamis. parang magbleblend yung sweet chinese flavor nung bottled gluten sa tang nung calamansi, basta dapat nadrain ng todo yung liquid sa bote kasi pag madami pang natira baka ma-over power nya yung lasa ng calamansi di ko pa na-try ihalo yung soyanaisse kasi mejo mahirap maghanap dito... try ko pa magpost ng ibang recipes dito, sana dami rin magcontribute | |

| veggie bolognese: 1/2 kilo pasta (linguini/ spaghetti/ fettucini) 5 cloves of garlic, minced 2 large white onions, minced 2 celery stalks, minced 3 large carrots, finely diced 1 medium sized red bell pepper, minced 1 medium sized green bell pepper, minced 1 large can of mushrooms, chopped 1 can crushed tomatoes 1 small can tomato paste 1 pc. bay leaf 1 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. paprika salt pepper pinch of sugar (optional) olive oil 1. saute onions in olive oil, let it sweat for 1-2 minutes. add garlic, celery, bell pepper and bay leaf, saute for 2-3 minutes. 5. add crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, paprika and last yung oregano. simmer for 5-8 minutes on a low fire , stir once in a while para di dumikit yung sauce sa pan. kung sobra lapot, add vegetable stock. 6. kung gusto mo mejo matamis, add sugar. depende na rin sa panlasa mo, matamis rin kasi yung carrots. 7. after non pwede mo nang patayin yung stove. pour the sauce over cooked pasta then its done. enjoi | |

| I'm proud to be vegan! Here in the Philippines, a lot of folks thinks that being vegan or veggie means you have to spend a lot of money but really, this is a misconception. You just have to know where to look. Anyways, Bodhi is an obvious choice. You can pretty much find a Bodi quick stop restaurant at any mall like SM or here in Cubao, at Alimall (note: not all the dishes are vegan though as some contain milk and cheese). If you're able to take yourself out to a nice restaurant, I highly recommend this restaurant called Greens located at 92 Scout Castor Street, Quezon City. open from Monday to Saturday 11:00AM to 10:00PM and on Sundays they open at 12pm to 9PM. Greens is vegan/vegetarian friendly and the food's not only great but cheap as well. And one more thing, if you're looking to cook your own food, there's a stand at StarMall that sell veggie meat and the instructions on how to cook it are labeled on the package. Hope you enjoy the food and become a full-time veggie if not vegan. See ya in the pit. | |

at least pre there's comfort in the knowledge na pesticide-free yung talong na kinain mo. matakot ka dun sa mga malalaki, makikinis, makintab, at malutong na talong. while they sure look tasty, most of the time they are "enhanced."
