Do you love moshing or do you hate moshing?

No offense to pro-mosh people. I hate moshing. I realized that people could get SRSLY hurt because of moshing.

agreed. i never saw someone serously hurt sa pit, except ung isang time na may inatake ne epilpesy sa pagbilao, hehe.. i think people in the hc punk community are pretty responsible when it comes to being in a pit, singing-along, moshing, diving, floorpunching, circle pits. the energy of the band transcends to the people sharing the stage with them. i think that's one of the best parts of a live show. i hate it when a hardcore punk gig, just becomes a "SHOW" wherein the people just sit down in their tables and chat with their friends while the band playing becomes sort of a showband for you to have your background music. fuck that shit.

tama moshing is fun. dun ka gaganahan pag nasa set ka tapos kasabay mo yung tao.
minsan nga lang nagkakagulo talaga kamuka nung df tour dito nagkabasagan ng bote sa ulo.
kasi pag nag mosh ka pag may magulo tlga, wag nalang patulan..
nsa tao naman un kung hahayaan nya ung sarili nyang masaktan tlga eh..

saka let's accept the fact na moshing has a major role in hc/punk gigs.

you are seriously missing out on the fun if you hate moshing. ive trashed, flailed, hurled and stage dived myself countless of times and to my unwittingly luck ive never lost a tooth or had major fractures. sa pit kasi nagkakaraoon kayo ng camaraderie wit yer fellow scenesters. yea there might be ocational fist fichts( by tupid fucks) and you could fly a fist once in a while but yea its a damn good way to relieve stress from the real world. ika nga ng What happerens next song "trashcore and circle pits... long hair, short hair it all mix"...its for everybody! its not a macho thing... even girls mosh... pwero ngalang merong mga macho core na talagang intensyon e manakit... yun naman e mga papansin na yun at yun dapat yung tinatamaan ng siko mo o ano man....pero onti nalang ngayon yung mga macho core na yan... youll recognize them bacause wala silang ngipin sa harap hahahahhahahahah

I've never really liked being at the front, shows are better without railings or stages
But i must thank you and all people who stand at the front, its better for the band and you are great cushioning for stage diving ^_^

p.s. parents are rad

about sa Batangas moshpit... jan lang talaga ako nakakita na kung mag mosh ehh maski nakaupo na hinahabol pa rin mga floorpunch and throwdown... katakot... i make myself as a shield to my girlfriend (nung kami pa hahaha) immediately that time...

nakakatuwa ung isang banda kung tumugtog ehh sumisipa sipa... hahaha playing while kickin and moshing!

Moshing is not bad... but there are those who take part on a mosh pit just to be able to bang their bodies and cause some pain. They are easy to point out, actually. If you feel the band's music, you're bound to the pit. Because it's really an exchange of emotions and energy. If you feel the band, show them...go mosh. If you don't, well, go ahead and stand there like a crazy supervisor surveying the scene. If you want to channel your energy and give some props to the band...go mosh. But don't forget others right of space. yeah, it's your right to move and mosh to a band's set, but other also has the right not to be forced and shoved into the pit...

and yes..mganda kaming bagsakan ng mga stage divers...

the difference with punk/HC shows is that there is no division between the band and the crowd.
or at least thats what we would like to think.

what attracted me to these things is the transfer of energy from the band to the crowd and vice versa. it makes you feel alive. you rarely see that in clubs and other scenes. microphone brawls and all. take the mic and screaming your lungs out!

people should take responsibility for their actions though and should be aware of the parameters of their movements. people get hurt oftentimes, but an apology a smile, a pat in the back can set things straight. you're not out to hurt anyone. unless you're one of those idiots who want to mosh to some tough shit and punch someone in the face. no way is a smile after that gonna help.

that'swhat makes the scene fun though, and oftentimes you'd see some kids standing infront of the instruments/amps to protect them. that's taking responsibility in some way. no need for huge bouncers who beat up the first kid who gets on stage or mistakenly hits these big guys.

i remember when nofx/king ly chee played, these huge ass walking muscleheads beat someone up for coming up onstage and trying to surf the crowd. they caught him a split second before hitting the crowd. same thing with summerslam idiots. anyone crowdsurfing near these goons immediately get grabbed away from the crowd.

in contrast, the king ly chee/shepherds the weak laguna gig was something else, even the stage became a huge moshpit with feet in the air. hahaha.

im scared of hardcore dancing/kungfu/kickboxing moves though. id rather have the crowd in one huge mass doing whatever, moshing, circle pits, than a couple of kids looking like they came out of a heaven shall burn video.

or i might be just getting old for that stuff.

my personal favorite is the circle-pit.....wala masyadong nasasaktan. wag ka lng matitisod hahah..try mo lang..masaya naman ehh

took the words right out of my mouth. i'm not really against moshing. i don't mosh myself but i'm cool with people who do. i'm just not in favor of kids ruining things for other kids by moshing irresponsibly or random acts of pit violence. with the shows i help organize dito sa amin, i see my fair share of people who crash the party to annoy people lang.
