I donated to a bunch of different orgs , Red Cross, Bayan , and more and we want to know how effective it is or if it's going against the tide in vain.

wasakan ng malay pero masaya naman.
a little help will go a long way.

nakakapagod pero worth it yung tulong.

for people who want to donate
ok lang clothes, pero prioritize food, water, milk for babies, medicines lalu na antibiotics,

for people who want to volunteer na taga south area, show up sa redcross muntinlupa chapter sa alabang town center gilid ng national bookstore. let them know you want to help, sign up lang and people will get you up to speed. they are fun folks to work with.

magdedeploy ng relief goods bukas and extra hands are most welcome para magdistribute, magbuhat, magbantay ng gamit at mag crowd control kasi for sure magiging magulo talaga.
it wont be easy work though, may mga times na possibility ang makuyog ng makukulit, pero that's why kelangan ng crowd control. figure out what's going on and see where you think you'd be of most use.

if you're willing to sacrifice a bit for a good cause , drop by around 8AM.

for other areas, there are operations na malalapit sa lugar nyo, see what's the most convenient to get to.
hindi lang marikina, pasig and cainta ang nasalanta.
i heard payatas has been totally neglected by the media and some people are doing something about it.

it's easy to shut things out and go around like nothing happened.
be punkrock and help out, even the smallest action matters.

it's CLIMATE ACTION FESTIVAL, by the way. it's on october 24 at 0130 at the picnic pavilions of quezon city memorial circle. as in our previous climate action, we will have bands, vegetarian/ vegan potluck, photo and art exhibit, and talks on climate change and on the environment. but we will have more of all those plus a mini eco film fest (film screenings of documentaries on climate change and the environment, including the documentary, the age of stupid, which had its global premiere last september 21-22) and workshops (on food, agriculture and climate change [with vegan/vegetarian cooking demo] and on composting, recycling, segregation, and zero-waste [with compost-making demo]).

all of these are for FREE. just bring your own bottled water (even if we will again set up a water station), utensils, and food container.

Lintek na Ondoy yan. Hanggang bubong yung baha sa lugar namin dito sa San Mateo, kala ko aabot pa sa 2nd floor eh. Buti na lang humupa din agad nung kinagabihan. At buti nalang din walang namatay o nadisgrasya samin. 1st time binaha yung samin tas ganun pa ka-grabe.

Yung sa kaklase ko sa Pasig, hanggang bewang padin daw yung baha hanggang ngayon. Tsk.
