Here's mine:

During the hot summer of 2006, TBOD went on to play a show in Cebu City. Here's how it all went down:

1. At the Airport - Ronald approached the customer service to look for one "Ronald Schlander", so the PA system went on to announce "Paging Mr. Ronald Schlander" on air for about 30-minutes until the plane arrived.

2. At the plane - being a first timer at flight, our drummer jepoi spent the whole flight with his head leaning on the seat in front of him.

3. Upon arrival - we all noticed this artwork of paper planes posted on a frame that looked like a bunch of planes crashed on the wall. We were terrified by the sadistic humor of the goddamn airport.

4. Then we went on to Backyard studios to rehearse at 8pm. before that, we decided to have dinner at the nearby carinderia, i perdered TOCILOG for most of the group, only to find out that there's this local delicacy thats like a version of their adobo rice. Everybody went on to curse me for the tocilogs.

5. Saturday morning - Strolled around Cebu's landmarks including the Church, where we looked at the Sto Nino image that the spaniards brought along before they enslaved us for the next hundred years, we were talkin about it loudly that people in the church actually heard us. We got to stand at the Magellan's Cross like the tourists we all are!

6. Sat. Morning pt2 - we went to SM Cebu and looked around (?!) Theres this chinese medicine store that caught our attention for their product called "Pink Nipples".

7. Sat. Morning pt3 - Weigner of Left Of Center/Shrapnel told us that he wanted to take us to a place to eat that you dont find in Manila, he took us to a Chinese restaurant inside SM Cebu! Peace bai weig!

8. Saturday afternoon pt1 - We all went to our rooms to rest before the show. Our bassist Mark went on to have his haircut and i went to buy turon. We then hanged out and watch TV most of the afternoon. When it came time for weig, jude and company had to pick us up, they came in to our room, only to find out that we were all stuck in front of the TV watching friggin STARTALK!!! That's probably the moment where all expectations just went dirtlow. Hardcore band watching showbiz talkshow!!! Fukkin Aight!!!

9. Saturday afternoon pt1 - pre show set up, the boys wanted to eat before the set, so we found this mediterranean fastfood near the venue. i ordered this chicken kebab with rice. The rice was so spicy that we dubbed it the "Terror Rice".

10 The Show - everybody sang and had a good time

last punta ko 97 pa ata. na-flip ako sa rice sa carinderia, nakabalot sa coconut leaves na parang sinlaki ng tennis ball, p2 or p3 lang ata yun. (that time sa manila p5 or p6 sya). tas barbeque was p10.00 (manila's was p20 na nun e) tas yung ganador na coke, wala silang 1.5l nun sa cebu, pero yung weight nila parang 800ml ata. basta wierd yung weight nun e, that time kasi sa manila 500ml, 1L at 1.5 yung patok e. i had fun there, kaso wala pa akong mga tropas dun. so wasnt able to see any shows or whatever. tamang gala lang.. sana nga i can go back again and this time watch an sra show with local bands there in cc. o yea!

we all laughed that time kasi pati foreigner nagbibisaya pala hahaha and it turned out that he's an on-board preacher...

bongbong guitarista ako ng left of center dati. ako yung nag guitara sa dalawang releases nila. anong mga songs dun sa overtune. bka di na ako nag guitara nun.
