I'm really okay with deathcore though, aslong as the fans don't look like bring me the horizon O_O And yeah those opm bands and those people think that fall into the "emo" category.

Ako kase may times din na tinitignan ko 'yung skills ng banda e, for example Bamboo. May nagbanggit kase na ayaw ng Bamboo, pero para sakin ok sila musically and talent-wise.Kung skills lng paguusapan mga halimaw sila. Siguro masasabe ko lang na hindi maganda sa katulad nilang mainstream band e yung pag eenforce ng label nila na gumawa sila ng isang "catchy/poppish" tune na magsisilbing pambenta ng album nila,ganyan kadalasan problema sa major labels.
Anyways, hinde trip na banda?? Mostly mga kahilera/kasabayan ng mga Blowjob for a Cowboy e, tsaka yung mga Chemical chemical romance ba yun? mga kasabayan nun na puro naka tagilid buhok,bwahahahahaa
Parang nakulong na kase ako sa kahon,sa panahon ng late 90s to early 2000s, NYHC bands, Earth Crisis, SOIA, Madball, etc tsaka metal acts na medyo luma nadin (Slayer, Malevolent Creation, Deicide) as well as certain funk rock and jazz artists (layo no,haha!)

if you're a punk thats into DIY and you think internet negates the entire idea of DIY, i think it would be more appropriate that you channel this thought thru a fanzine, a wall, a patch or something. And no, tarpauline is not considered DIY also. just so you know.

Chicosci - I admit, I like one of their songs - "Paris" which was played on heavy rotation on NU 107 years vack. But other than that, I hate eveyrthing about this band. They started out as a "nu metal/rap metal" band then turned "emo-core" and then recently had this vampire-goth vibe in their imagery. Talagang sakay sa uso! At hindi ko alam kung sadyang old rich lang talaga ang mga members ng banda na 'to. Kita mo naman ang mga video nila, talagang may budget!

Slapshock - I don't know where to begin with my hate about this band. Ah, I'll start with their guitar players! Yeah, the same ones who won Guitarist of the Year in one of NU's rock awards, even though simpleng groove riff lang naman ang ginagawa nila. But then again, they're probably not to blame for that, blame the cluelss judging committee formed by NU back then. Another reason why NU really had to die! He he. Back to Slapshock, they started out as 'rap metal' but then 'progressed' to KSE-style metalcore. Nothing wrong with progressing pero progression nga ba o sakay sa uso lang?

Those are two of my hated local bands. Post uli ako pag na-gather ko thoughts ko sa iba.
