Music Theory, Chord Building etc.

I need major help, since not everyone here has the time or can afford to have guitar lessons. And since you guys have been playing the guitar your whole life, I might as well ask for help from you guys.

I dont quite understand music theory, chord building, chord theory, scales, or what not. I can play the guitar, but I have no perfect idea what the hell I'm doing. And skramz only use octave chords. ( and this is what you get when youre TAB reliant.)

Since this is a forum, it might help others too who are interested.

Post anything that could help. Particularly the ones that should be learned first.
