Documentation through recording

I think bands should really pursue recording so any history will be documented accurately so claimers of any title will be dismissed. The sad part, some band are only remembered on the covers they play and thus the title for their foreign counterparts (ex gameface of laguna, minor threat of santa rosa, goldfinger of mindanao, etc. ).
