DIY shirt printing

anyone here wants to share some good techniques in successful printing?

im running out of shirts.

yea, im scouring the net.

successful printing?

make a tight screen.
choice of paint: i recommend rubberized, though normal screen paint is a-ok.
try first stencils before using photo emulsion technique.
after printing a design on a shirt, dry it with a blower(not to close it may ruin the design)or by putting the shirt at the back of an aircon(proven true!!)or hang it under the sun. wash the shirt after a week.

anyone gonna share on the Photo Emulsion bit?

Last week nag print ako ng 20 pcs na shirt, ginamit ko photo emulsion na hinaluan ng sensitizer at hardener OK naman! pero symepre pers time nde gaano kaganda yung gawa ko Pero Fulfilling!!

may nagawa akong shirt through photo emulsion nung second year kami. bullet for my valentine pa nga yun. kinuha ni sir ko yung design ko. sabi niya i-exhibit niya raw. di nangyari sabi nya may mas maganda pa raw na shirt. lolz

magandang gamitin ang photo emulsion technique kung bihasa ka na sa pag print, yung wlalang bleed through o kahit anong flaws.

i figured photo emulsion's better than stencil when it comes to having the image on your screen. what do you guys think?

yeah i figured photo emulsion is easier and costier. lol

instruction says add 10 parts emultion to 1 part sentisizer.

pag bumili ka sa mga printing shop kadalasan may kasama ng sensitizer na sakto sa emulsion mo, hahaluin mo na lang ng maigi. pero tama yang ratio na nabasa mo.

may nabibili na din ready mix na photo emulsion, sa ref daw ang storage. gumamit na din ako ng elmers glue dati, 5 parts glue, 1 part sensitizer, 8 minutes exposure time(150watts spotlight) hindi ako sure kung tama ratio pero ok na din kinalabasan.

sa 500 watts na halogen. seconds lang develop. nakaw kau ng streetlight

yan ang alternative kung ayaw mong gumastos ng malaki sa emulsion...
pwede rin ang shelwood, basta white glue pwede...

yung exposure time depende yan sa magagawa mong ratio ng glue/emulsion at sensitizer...
hit or miss talaga yan, sa simula frustrating, pero pag natumbok mo, maaadik ka.

dre basta sakto lng macover ung screen.
5parts elmers glue 1part sensitizer tantyahin mo lng para di masayang.
patuyuin mo mabuti, much better if you have a hair dryer para mabilis matuyo.
pulido gawa basta tama lng luto.
500w 5mins lang.
butasin mo nlang ng spray.

uu tol dapat tlaga me hardener kc mapupudpod ung screen sa hagod.
ung gamit kc ng sensitizer para hindi maging makunat ung screen pag binutas.
Pag kulang sensitizer mahorap butasin, pag sumobra nman pwede sumama ung umulsion pag spray.

tenkyu tlaga mga tol. yung glass hihiramin ko na lang sa school. light bulb na lng kulang.

ayuz dre.
Tyagaan lang hanggang maperfect.

Tip ko lang sa pag gawa ng silk screen sa frame... basain nyo muna yung screen then before ikabit using staplers, para pag hinugasan nyo yung screen after nyo gamitin sa printing di siya lulundo. and solid parin.

whole sale talaga bentahan dun ranges from 60 to 90 depende sa kulay din.pag dark colors mas mahal e. knug marami ka talaga bilhin discount mo P1 lang.

balak ko maging designer ng tshirts... kaso lang wala akong scanner para isend sa inyo... sa adobe mahirap mag esign tinatamad ako naglalag ehh...
