State of Mind Signs Reviver and Anchor

STATE OF MIND RECORDINGS is proud to announce two new additions to the family. We welcome ANCHOR and REVIVER. Check out the info below and give these bands a chance. Neither one is new to the scene and both have been hard working touring bands for years.

ANCHOR
Hailing from hardcore and metal hotbed of Sweden, ANCHOR bring a heavy aggressive hardcore sound howled vocals and devastating mosh parts, but not without its speed and urgency, taking cues from bands like TRIAL, VERSE, STRIFE, & JUDGE. Members did time in DAMAGE CONTROL, THE SMACKDOWN, and SET MY PATH to name a few, and their message is one of compassion, awareness, introspection, and struggle.
Relentless touring has made ANCHOR one of the most important and respected bands on their continent. They’re now planning on leaving their mark on new ones. No slowing down, ANCHOR is with out a doubt a band to be reckoned with for a long time in the future.

REVIVER and STATE OF MIND, how did we not find each other sooner. REVIVER from Salt lake City play melodic hardcore punk with a dark experimental side. You may have herd of these guys, formed in 07 these guys self-booked over 10 tours and has covered the entire U.S. several times. This is the fallow up to their full length (now sold out, released on a now dead label). REVIVER has just finished recordings their new CD (digi pack) / 7”. DECADES “Shelter From the Swarm” 7” Pre Order has shipped. So far we gave away 2 test press copies at random and we will be giving away one more in the next week or two. We still have copies of the 3 x 7” set (limited to 30) as well as copies on white (the most limited color) and limited shirts. DOLARHYDE will have some new tour dates up soon. They will be out in support of the new “Self Titled” CD/LP (vinyl in press now). This art is going to be really sick, something very original.
